A spider attacks Croc
In the console game, spiders are red-pink or purple and they appear in a couple of levels.
They will often spring down on a web and attempt to hurt Croc, bouncing in place for a little before retreating to a place where Croc cannot attack them.
Croc can stomp or tail-whip them to defeat them.
Spiders in the GBC game
In the Game Boy Color game, they come in different colours. They can spring down on a web to hurt Croc or they can appear on a giant web, where they wander around the web.
They do not chase after Croc, and he can use his tail-whip to defeat them.
