Croc 3 was set to be the third installment in the main Croc universe, and the first to be an online multiplayer game, as well as the first (and only) Croc game to be on the Xbox.

The game would have seen Croc, now with his own kind, training other crocs to face challenges and have their own adventures. In addition to single-player mode, the game would have included two-player and, for the first time ever, four-player co-op modes, and would feature co-operative puzzle solving.

The idea was pitched to Microsoft by Nic Cusworth, but although the idea was liked, Argonaut was going through a rough patch, and Croc 3 never saw the light of day. [1]
